I drove to his place, which turned out to be a townhouse,
found a parking spot, and walked up to the door. As I went to ring the bell I
hesitated. The butterflies were now flapping their wings violently against the
sides of my stomach. Yet, even with the butterflies there was still something
unknown urging me onward. Gina and Reggie were right; I didn’t have anything to lose at
this point. The doorbell rang; it seemed
some invisible hand had pressed my own hand forward to ring it.
